Day 52-53 Kampot & Kep

Jack was still pretty ill when we got there but Marie and me explored a bit and had a walk along the river..

The sky looked lovely and locals gather there every evening around sunset.

We found some nice ice cream and street food, for $1 each (about 60p) we did have a big task ahead of us trying to establish if it was veggie or not, which included some animal noises and actions.

We stayed at a place called Flower Garden.

The guy assured us he's normally more assertive and was just having a bad day, which seemed to consist of ignoring you when you needed something and playing loads of agressive sweary loud songs.

The next day, I was really ill too!

We'd already booked on a trip though, so we had to go.

We drove through countryside..

Went to a salt farm..

A pepper farm (which kampot is famous for)..

To the "elephant caves' where two giddy students took us round, poking us occasionaly, asking if we had boyfriends and singing the batman theme tune (this along with walking up a hill to caves is a great combination when you're about to spew).

Then we went to Kep, which is famous for it's crab. You can see them catch it in the sea then it's all cooked fresh. I was on a nil by mouth day but could see (and was told) it was delicious.

In the evening, we switched to 'The Little Garden' guesthouse, which was nice.'

Then we met up with Ben and Elena who had just arrived in Kampot too :)

Next stop... Ho Chi Minh City!
